One of the times I’ve been the most drawn to a brother was once after daily mass. Most people shuffled out the metal doors, but this stranger lingered. Motionless. Eyes fixed on the tabernacle, swapping secrets with Christ. I can’t articulate how moved I was by his stillness.

This is the kind of man we need in the world. Someone that can move mountains, not just by their muscles, but with the mere strength of their love and prayers. Callused hands moving past each sphere of their rosary, murmuring prayers, mesmerized by the mysteries. Mirrors shining the light of Christ on earth and when glory is directed to them, reflecting it right back up to its source. A mouthpiece for messages of hope, love, light.

As your sisters, we will strive to be good women – women of purity, holiness, humility, dignity. Women strong enough to support strong men. We are praying for you
